Industry's Import-Export Trade Hits New High

According to customs data, the total import and export volume of the heavy machinery industry from January to November 2024 was US$40.283 billion, a year-on-year increase of 12.01%. Among them, the export volume was US$37.169 billion, a year-on-year increase of 14.76%; the trade surplus was US$34.055 billion, a year-on-year increase of 18.18%. The total import and export volume, export volume, and trade surplus in the first 11 months have all exceeded the full year of 2023, setting a new historical high. The export volume of the heavy machinery industry in 2024 is expected to exceed US$40 billion.
